A tailored approach for You
People come to therapy for a variety of reasons. As such, it is important to individually tailor your therapy to help you achieve your goals for therapy.
Individual therapy is a process that involves the assessing your current situation and concerns, identifying possible causes of the difficulties, establishing goals for therapy, and using evidence-based strategies to help resolve the challenges you are facing and achieve the personal insight and growth. All treatment goals and plans are made collaboratively. If you are unsure of what exactly you want from therapy, this is okay too. This too can be explored together.
Given your individual nature and situation, the number of sessions required will be guided and reviewed as necessary. While some people may require ongoing sessions, some may only require a few sessions to experience a positive change. At the initial stages of therapy, weekly or biweekly sessions are usually recommended. Sessions last for 50 minutes.
